Law breakers eschewing checkpoints.

According to the security plan than has been approved of by the council of ministers, and is applied by the Lebanese security forces since august in the Bekaa aria, 5 checkpoints have been placed. Some check points that belonged to the Lebanese army, are now used by the Lebanese security forces and others are newly placed, covering main and sub-roads. Forces have also been patrolling the area to secure it. This plan includes everyone breaking the law, from people that are breaking traffic laws, to dangerous outlaws. "This plan isn't temporary but permanent, and is there to make sure the citizens of the area feel safe during day and night time. And also has a positive effect on the economy and tourism in the area." says the head of the area.
For the dangerous outlaws, which are 69, all their names are placed at all the checkpoints and are being tracked down.
But since the Lebanese people aren't used to a high security level , or the presence of a government forcing the laws, a high number of people are trying very hard to avoid passing thru these checkpoint. Some roads are even witnessing it's travelers reduce.
Having that said, the security plan is still there, and will stay to help the areas security. For the citizens to feel safer in the area, increase it's visitors and help it's economy.
