Easter in Marjeyoun

The egg tapping tradition is back to Marjeyoun. The town’s mayor organized alongside his wife a festival celebrating Easter, with the participation of all the towns’ citizens, including adults and children, they were also joined by Spanish troops.
The festival included traditional Easter games, and other fun games and competitions for children and adults to enjoy. Spanish troops joined in on the egg tapping fun as well.
Positive vibes were all over the place. Everyone felt happiness and joy, which gave them hope that the resurrection of Jesus Christ comes bringing peace to Lebanon.
